EXPERIENCES BEFORE AND AFTER THE COVID-19

 

Before the covid-19 virus spread, we all had lives. Everyone and everything was busy and noisy until the virus came and took it away. Before the lockdown, we had family get-togethers, union meetings, parties, and complete work, school, and social life. At the time of the virus, all of these changes happened quickly and all at once. Everything is starting to return to normal, but we can't be too confident because a cure hasn't yet been discovered. Still, it's best to keep up with the covid-19 safety measures, get the vaccine shots, and get tested with the PCR test for covid-19 or other covid-19 tests.

We were affected by the sudden spread of the virus and the total lockdown. But it did help family life, work life, and children who didn't get enough care and attention from their parents. Couples got closer to their kids, and their kids got closer to their parents. There was less stress at work because there weren't as many face-to-face meetings, and kids got to spend quality time with their parents. Even though the outcome was good, everyone was affected by the terrible outbreak. What happened before and during the pandemic will be discussed from the economy to the healthcare systems.

Before the outbreak, Brexit was making the UK economy unstable. It didn't stop the country from exporting goods and services well because it made a lot of money. The economy significantly increased the number of food, drink, machinery and equipment, and chemical manufacturing jobs. The UK was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, which led to a recession, especially during the lockdown. The economy went from bad to worse. It affected the whole production capacity and slowed down demand around the world. There were also worries about the availability of raw materials. Because of this, machinery and equipment makers temporarily stopped making things in the country. For example, in March 2020, all of the UK factories of Joseph Cyril Bamford Excavators Limited (JCB) stopped making construction equipment because there wasn't as much demand. As customers cancelled orders and stopped deliveries, the need for JCB products worldwide went down. Also, since the lockdown was lifted and testing, vaccinations, and other safety measures were put in place, companies are opening up, and the country's economy is slowly returning to normal.

 How Health Care Works

The capacity of a healthcare centre is limited. It is primarily valid for hospitals. Before the outbreak, patients in different wards got the proper care and attention. When the virus came out of nowhere, health care systems were not ready. This led to many people going to hospitals, which meant that the non-covid patients and the emergency room had to give way to the covid-19 patients. As a response, a large-scale programme to activate human resources and teach people new skills was started, and intensive care units were also made. These helped keep hospitals from getting too crowded. During this time of the first outbreak, when non-covid-19 patients were not getting the proper care, their conditions got worse. In the long run, both covid and non-covid patients got the same amount of care and attention. Cities like London and Wales had high death rates because so many people lived there. People who live in these cities should always get their shots and get tested to stop the spread of disease and reduce deaths.

Using what we've learned from these events, we should have emergency plans in case of another pandemic or outbreak. Social isolation, quarantine, travel restrictions, lockdown, and other rules for physical safety saved us from a big disaster. It limited the number of people who died quickly and spread across the country. Even though testing and vaccination came late, they helped stop the virus from spreading.
